Museum Passes

During summer hours, please pick up weekend passes the preceding Friday.  Please read the museums' OWN policies, procedures and directions carefully.  Some museum passes are a discount only and have a reduced entry fee.

Museum of Science

  • The Museum of Science offers a number of permanent and temporary exhibits. These are available to anyone with an exhibit hall pass. Check the schedule for live animal shows, Science Live! presentations and other activities. 

Zoo New England

  • Both the Stone Zoo and Franklin Park Zoo have passes available through the library. The zoos have numerous animals, as well as petting zoos and daily presentations from the zoo keepers about the animals they care for. 

Boston Children's Museum

  • The Children's Museum offers a number of exhibits and programs that are available for children of all ages. The museum has three floors of hands-on play and discovery to keep kids learning concepts from STEAM to art.

Bradley Palmer State Park Programs

Visit Bradley Palmer State Park for programs throughout the summer! All programs are free and open to the public. An adult must accompany children visiting. See program info in PDF format below. 

Parking fees still apply; however the library has you covered with our reservable DCR parking pass! Passes may be reserved by North Andover residents up to 60 days in advance. Click here to reserve a parking pass.

Local Trails

Friends of North Andover Trails

  • FONAT holds monthly group hikes to learn about the town's trails in a group setting. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the fun. They also offer an interactive online map and list of trails to plan your next hike. 

Harold Parker State Forest

  • There a number of activities available at Harold Parker State Forest. There are camp sites as well as hiking trails and places to canoe or kayak. Leashed dogs are allowed. The park is open from sunrise to sunset. Camp sites must be reserved

North Andover Youth and Recreation Services

Youth and Recreation Services

  • The Youth and Recreation Center offers a variety of summer programs. There are programs for an array of ages groups (K-8).  Registration is required, contact the Youth & Recreation directly. 
  • Drummond Fields also has available space and activities. These are available to the public, as long as there are no planned Youth Center or town athletic programs.

Stevens Pond

  • The pond is available to North Andover residents. Season and daily passes available for purchase. Discounted Senior Citizen passes are available. Passes are purchased per car, with additional passes available for extra vehicles. Summer swimming lessons are also held in two separate 4 week sessions.

North Andover Commons

  • There are summer shows starting July that take place at the North Andover common. There are children's shows as well as a summer concert series. 

North Andover Playground/Athletic Fields

  • Both Aplin Playground and Grogan's Playground, as well as the two soccer fields off Sharpners Pond Road, are open to North Andover residents.
