Universal Class is a free library resource that includes courses on almost any subject. Use this resource if you are looking to fine-tune some skills, potentially change careers, or gain job search and preparation knowledge.
1. Click on 'Course Catalog' tab at the top
2. Select and Click on classes in Career Training, Entrepreneurship, Business, Test Prep, and many other career development classes (including Health & Medicine, Office Skills, Medical Billing, Pet and Animal Care, etc.)
Transparent Language Online This link opens in a new window
Transparent Language offers more than 7000 languages to learn online and completely free. This is a great resource to help gain a specialized skill for a future job opportunity.

Career Changer's Manual - a one-stop resource for someone on a job search. It includes chapters such as "Identifying a Career Niche" and "Market Thyself". This resource is provided by Learning Express, so be sure to register as a Stevens Memorial Library patron in order to access this material.
